Lately, there has been an explosion of new sites selling inferior green tea. Many of these products come from China, are stale, old, and come from late summer harvests. Since green tea has a relatively short shelf life, it is important to obtain authentic products from reliable sources. You'll want to avoid, at all costs, green teas that are old, and those that are not sealed in airtight packaging with the oxygen replaced with nitrogen. Even at well known coffee chains, the "green tea" you find will usually be inferior.
